Wessex Oak Frame was founded in 2001, based on my own 25 years experience designing, fabricating and conserving timber frame buildings throughout the British Isles. Situated near Corsham in Wiltshire we are a flexible and highly motivated crew, happy to tackle any type or size of project,including Pergolas, Garden Rooms and furniture, Verandahs, Balconies right through to multiple-bay Garages, sympathetic Extensions and complete Houses . We work almost entirely in Oak as we find this timber to be the most attractive and suitable to the task. We can see a job through from conception to completion, including applications for Planning Permission and/or Building Regulations approval. We take pride in the hand-made quality of our work, and will only complete a job to the customer's satisfaction, with a follow-up maintenance programme included in the contract. We can supply F.S.C. timber as required, and have adopted an Eco-friendly approach to the entire business. Wessex Oak Frame subscribes to the Carpenter's Fellowship and the Green Bulding Press. We are specialists in oak framed buildings, timber frame buildings, green oak structures and have constructed a variety of buildings ranging from verandahs, garages, balconies and many more - please have a look at our portfolio to see some of the projects.
